I had CPA Insurance for many years. I used them once in 2003 when we got through a block we were absolutely certain wasn't ours. They paid quickly and without B.S. They went bankrupt last month for unknown causes; I'll never see the thousands of dollars I paid into it.
Most job insurance policies exclude as payable just about every damn thing you would get fired for, making it difficult to get paid. Sometimes the carrier would orchestrate the language of the charge letter knowing your ass wouldn't see a dime based on the language. This in turn, would motivate the defendant to abide by the Kangaroo Kourt's psychadelic interpretation of the incident and subsequent punishment.
