Once the SMART Board actually passes its
official resolution to issue the bond (expected
this summer), it must wait 60 days before issuing
the bond.

And that's the time it'll take to gather the
signatures for a referendum.

"Do you support issuing a $200 million bond to provide
rail service limited to downtown Santa Rosa to downtown
San Rafael" ?
