My plan is electric light rail Santa Rosa to Larkspur, with an extension(expensive)to Marin City.

I don't think freight has a future; there isn't enough traffic to pay for MOW. But we'll find out soon enough.

I favor reasonable subsidies for passenger but not freight. There is no national security angle - the NWP is not on Stracnet - and freight subsidies would not be fair to truckers.
