$1000 says 'J' works for the AAR. You people are a bunch of clueless idiots. Narrowbanding to 6.25 kHz is NOT yet mandated by the FCC. The AAR continues to shove NXDN down everybody's throats for a mandate that could be ten years away. And just to let you know there's a growing number of railroads suspicious of your relationship with Icom and Kenwood.

Personal attacks should not distract from incorrect assertions. I don't recall saying 6.25 kHz is now mandated. And I'd be interested in your explanation that railroads can be suspicious of alleged relationships with a couple of manufacturers. If you were more familiar with the the workings of the industry you would realize that railroads populate the AAR committees that formulate industry standards / policies with their own employee experts. Please take a deep breath and then explain the source of your animosity.
