Cool!, some battleship gun barrels. These things are about as long as an SD40 and weigh as much as an SW1500(or at least as close, anyways). While the Navy boxcars await scrapping, not too far away, the USS IOWA - BB61(the class of ship that the Mark 7 16 inch 50 caliber naval rifle was mounted on) awaits a new home. For those not in the know, she is currently tied up in the ever-shrinking mothball fleet in Suisun Bay(just east of the Benicia Bridge facing the channel).
