I had seen that video many times, but wasn't aware of where it was or the story behind it. Thanks for the info.

I looked and found some photos, amazing that anyone survived in the cab.

I am surprised that the signal indications have not been standardized, especially considering how much running is done over trackage rights. The lack of visibility of the aspect of a signal due to sunlight has been a factor in past wrecks - too bad semaphores or color position lights aren't more popular. But we don't need signals anymore - we will have PTC on the way!
