Further on Charles Baden, or "Flim " as he was also known. He is NOT a railfan, and only became involved in Flimsies because he was friends with the Train Punks, and was introduced to Steve Sloan through them. He was also a major computer geek, having quit high school early due to several programming jobs that already had him making $40, 000 + a year. At last report Charles is still writing computer programs, and living in SoCal.
I don't know the whys & hows of his gaining control of producing Flimsies from Steve Sloan. I do know that the Train Punks did most of the actual news editing, as well as post - production work in addressing & mailing. I also helped out in these functions, as well as providing news & photos from time to time.
