Movie help requested...Big Trees?

I saw the end of a 1952 movie last nite. It starred Kirk Douglas and looked to be shot in the Redwoods somewhere. I think the title was The Big Trees. I'm guessing that the railroad sequence might have been filmed on the Hammond Redwood operation near Eureka, but don't know for certain. Any help appreciated. If I'm wrong on the title, I apologise.
