.

Currently, and then after tomorrow's (and for that matter this coming week's) stock market crash, there most certainly won't be any pennies left in the piggy bank to even put a down on HSR. What private entity will want to invest in the HSR scam?

Sure, HSR sounds neat in theory, but from where is the money coming to pay for this boondoggle?

Yes Carol, I agree, I-5 and Hwy. 99 are already in existence for a right-of-way. Did you know that there are or were plans to extend Hwy. 65 down along the east side of the Central Valley? I saw that once on a Caltrans map of future routes to be constructed.

Anyone with wagers as to how much the market will tank on Monday and by the end of the week?
