Hey Mike-- The costs are absolutely ridiculous. Yes, it would be good for the "bikers" and "PEDS" and the fact is, you already have an existing 2200-foot tunnel in-place, without having to start from scratch and dig a new one. Build a new tunnel "portal" at each end---
then, you have an existing hole to get inside the hill. Go on in and place a "concrete liner" thru it, and bring on your Bikes.. $ 600K to $ 60 MIL is NUTS... No Way!
Got any concrete or gunnite experts on here ?? What's your take "Weather Man" ??
