Omaha Dispatcher 12 handles from Meredith to Fairfax

Troy Grove Sub. Five years ago, give or take, the Troy Grove local handled maybe 3-10 cars per train, with maybe one engine. Now, it seems to routinely handle something on the order of 30-40 cars per train, with 3 locomotives (all marked UPY, and mostly "tunnel motors"). I live about a block from the TGL, and every night the TGL wakes me up (DeKalb is a "quiet zone", except on the Troy Grove branch) as it makes it way back to West Chicago.

Dispatcher 19 handles from Fairfax to Missouri

Is SRK's first name Scott? If so, you are right, he

SRK - I haven't heard his name mentioned over the radio, but, from what I have heard, SRK is the sort of person who is 4-square and honest.

Based on what you have written, I believe that I have listened to Michelle. I will say that who ever she is, she comes across as someone who is very professional and who does not "suffer fools lightly".

Hope this info. is helpful for you.

To be honest with you, I went back and looked at my original question. Guess I look like a pompous idiot. Anyway, yes, you more or less answered my question, but, what I angling for at the time, was do these dispatchers handle other territories, maybe a branch line in Calif? Or do they just devote their shift to the one stretch of mainline to which they are assigned?
