OK. I'm glad that that posted. That photo is from the Hank Graham collection of the westbound City of Las Vegas heading just west of West Yard tower to San Bernardino. Above the train You can clearly see the Valley Division bridge that spanned the Mojave River. Those white houses were on the extreme west end of Pierce Street, and were there until over the last 10 or so years have been covered up by blowsand, or the sand dunes You see today. At the other end of that bridge the wye began. Hope this helps.
