Actually the original railroad to the area was the North Pacific Coast, which got there via Fairfax, Point Reyes Station, Tomales, Valley Ford and Occidental. The NWP's line down the Russian River came later.

Looking at the area from Jenner to Russian Gulch on Google Earth, there are old scars on the land which look like they could have been from a railroad, but who knows?
