No there is not! And if you would quit listening to ilk like Al Gore, you would know that.
According to a poll reported in the SF Chronicle a couple of years or so ago, done by Smithsonian or was it Scientific American (I forget), only 17% of climatologists are convinced that global warming is man caused. Many merely suspect that. But many others discount it. The article did not mention those percentages.
Besides, consensus does not in any way imply that something is a fact - it actually means less than nothing! Worse yet, Climatology is supposed to be a science, governed by all the same scientific rules of evidence, as is any other true science.
But once any so-called scientist starts advocating in the political arena, you can bet anything he/she says from then on - is suspect. Indeed, such bias on the part of the so-called "Concerned Scientists" that are making these assertions, has already been well proven.
Now if your intent here, is to excuse climatologists, from the scientific rigor required to back their assertions, then we should then also consider your own bias as well.
