There are some expensive logistical nuances with the McCoy site. Electric power of sufficient voltage is not available at the site, so a new high voltage trench will have to be dug from some distance away. The ground at the McCoy site is not level through the entire length of the proposed loop, so part of a hillside is going to have to be moved.

The bottom line is that the McCoy site does not make sense for a shuttle loader, but apparently they're going through with it come hell or high water. Much better sites for a shuttle loader are available.
