Yes Mouse, you are a conspiracy theorist.....
You're usual line of reasoning with bizarre HSR, "Chandler", or "truckers" sectet conspriacy theories would not appear to be supported by even a shred of real "evidence" or other reported "facts".
I've heard or seen nothing discussed or reported that would comport with your latest conspiracy theories about "unconstitutioal embargoes"? There also appears to no evidence that Van Ark's sudden departure had anything to with secret cabals or secret conspiracies by hoards of mysterious "Chandlers" angry over Fort Tejon? Nor is there any supporting evidence for your other vast secret conspiracy by mysterious "highway" interests somehow angry over the examination of this alternative route?
The decisions of Van Ark to leave would appear to have a lot more to do with the state of the dysfunctional agency he's been running. And maybe, it had to do with an inability to explain how the CHSRA is to be managed in a way that doesn't make it look like an Italian cruise ship, or how it expects to fund or complete the project, to the newly appointed Board members?
The loss of Van Ark's support on the CHSRA Board, from the departure of Arnold's lame duck appointees, and thus, the votes he would need to coniunue as CEO, seems like a better "fit" with the "facts" that have been reported, for his departure.
There are real interest grouips that take positions to support or oppose various options or permutations of this project (and many others) for various rationales, some good, some bad, some just negotiating positions. Most of these positions don't require bizarre complex conspiracy theories or secret cabals to explain, however.
I wonder, is this all part of the same vast secret conspiracy that is secretly running SMART and BARTD, too?
