Here are the NWP suspects:
5107 - New to Oregon in mid 1949; 10/52-5/53 leased to NWP; 8/55-9/55 leased to NWP; 1/64 in Los Angeles; Dec 65 retired
5112 - New to Arizona(?) in early 1950; used on trains 381/382 to Bowie (which were dicontinued in late 1953); photo caption in Diesel Era shows "Oakland Coach Yard" in Dec 1950 but this is incorrect as #382 is visible in train number boards. Leased NWP 10/51-5/52, on SD&AE Sept 1960; Dec 1963 sold for scrap.
5117 - New to Oregon(?) late 1951; early 50s Myrtle POint to Coos Bay; leased NWP 1962(?) to mid 1964; 1965 signal light added; Nov 1966 sold to WCTU #5117; mid 2005 sold to M&ET for rebuilding; scrapped mid 2011 without being used by M&ET.
None of these had multiple unit controls so would have been limited to working switching or light locals/roadswitchers. NWP/SD&AE assignments based on info e-mailed to me by PA Copeland. Additional info appreciated.
