I worked for 17 years at Kaiser Santa Teresa hospital in San Jose but we now live down here near Salinas (Prunedale) in the Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital District. For the last year SVMH has been an on-going soap opera with major community and union dissension and dysfunctional board of directors, as they seek future financial direction which is currently pointing to some kind of relationship between the local county hospital (Natividad) and SVMH. Talk about can of worms!
