For those of you keeping track of the motive power on the Eastern
Washington Gateway, you'll have noticed that we are now down to one remaniing
SD45, NIWX 8924, a former MRL unit and, way before that, a former Seaboard and
Seabord Coast Line locomotive. With the 2011-2012 grain season now just about
over, 8924 will make it's last run leading a grain train east from Hartline, WA
Wednesday evening, June 20th.

We expect grain car loading will be done about 4:00 PM or thereabouts and 8924
along with SD40-T2's WRIX 2891 and 8702 and WRIX SD40-2 3000 will head east for
an evening run towards Cheney, picking up other grain cars at Hanson and at
Almira.

8924 and 375 will be offered for sale but, if there are no buyers, will likely
be sold for scrap.
