Thanks for the clarification and yes it takes a lot of money to do these restorations. Currently the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie, WA is restoring the Baptist Chapel Car "Messenger of Peace". The museum was lucky to get a substantial amount of money to hire a full time crew to do a lot of the restoration work.

When the car is finished it too will be able to return to "Home Rails", sort of. In 1917 the car went to North Bend, WA on the same tracks the museum operates on.
