...I was shocked and saddened this morning to find that Bruce's in Sacramento has had to start liquidating inventory (currently 30% off everything except consignment items) in preparation for closing within 4-5 weeks. Actual final day will depend on how fast they can clear out the stock.

Bruces has always been a great place to shop, and the staff has been wonderful to me. I speak not as a modeler but as someone who only visited to talk trains and buy the occasional magazine. I will miss this store very much. Anyone who wants to pay a final visit better do so soon.
