I have been there and done that...I was laid-off and couldn't find a job for 22 months. I actually sold much of my railroad hobby items...sometimes just to make ends meat. What I didn't do was to go down to my "favorite" hobby shop, spend no money, scare off the customers who had money and then @#$%& because they had to close.
I also don't think the hobbyists that supported Bruce's in the past are all broke, some of them sure, but most made the decision to buy elsewhere (probably the internet) to get more "bang" for there buck and not support Bruce and his family. Is that the right decision, who the hells knows, but they sure as hell shouldn't complain when Bruce closes.
