Believe it was a mix as part of it had been upgraded for just such a border crossing project.
The purchase isn't alone, BNSF bought back the Nebraska Northeastern after selling it, UP is
providing power to the Nebraska Central and is in essence building the outbound at remote
locations. Amazing what happens when a little local brain power goes to work on unwanted lines.
