First off, I'm probably one of the few "sane" Californians on this board who is under 30, and it seems like it's easier to make a simple appeal with glitz and glamor than with logic and facts.

I mean, I don't even have my degree yet and I know this kind of 'civil engineering' seems more like an appeal to novelty rather than approaching the solution logically--rebuilding the NWP with 21st-century knowledge--rather than hacking out an entirely new line through a national forest. What next...a brand-new transcontinental railway across Tioga Pass?

These guys seem to be taking "pipe dream" to a whole new level--of course, the fuel for their pipes is probably for medicinal purposes if you know what I mean...
