D, The Dreyfus-designed streamlining was installed on J-3 Hudsons 5445 through 5454 for use on the Twentieth Century Limited. Two others had a little different version lacking the center arc through the headlight, 5426 and 5429, designed for the Empire State Express. They had two-tone paint, dark on the bottom, light on the top, with corregated siding to match the passenger cars. One other Hudson, a J-1, also received the Dreyfus streamlining, 5344. It had previously been streamlined with the "inverted bathtub" Commodore Vanderbilt version.
