I used to belong to Nor-Cal years ago when Paul Gordenev of the WP was the President and Paul von Heflin was Secretary. Paul von Heflin lived on Arguello Blvd in San Francisco. He was a great Secretary and a great individual. Francis Guido was an early leader of Nor-Cal as well.
In 1964 I rode MUNI PCC 1009 on an all day excursion with Art Curtis as Motorman and a car filled with great railfans, all sponsored by Nor-Cal.
