Much appreciate your updates on Howard. Had no idea of he became such a collector... After school BHS...he would pick me up in his little black Ford.. We put a homemade sign on the back bumper. reading in black letters on silver background SACRAMENTO NORTHERN.. then head off to look for trains as far out as Concord.. Bob Parkinson ."Parky" was on the first west coast fan trip..He was exceptionally knowledgeble on river and bay steamers.. a joy to be with... always happy... Wonder if Howard is still around.. we havent communicated since early 40's.. Richmond reminds me of Wilford Jackson of Richmond..... renowned for his ability to immitate precisely with his mouth... such things as various trolley and interurban air compresors... Is he still around?
