Locotrol was before my time, but my dad has some slides of a BN set-up on loan to the SP over Beaumont Hill in the early-mid 70's.

When DP made its debut on my district, some of the old heads laughed and related stories of early radio-controlled 'slave' units and all the problems- sets 'taking off!' in the power tracks, wrong-way loading of traction motors, radio drop-out and subsequent drawbar pull-outs, etc.
