Jeff,

It is my understanding that there were no conflicts with the departures or arrivals of the two trains from the Boardwalk. I did notice the Seaside Company (Boardwalk) asked both SC&MB and SCBT&P to spot their trains further back from Neptune’s Kingdom after the first few weeks because the locomotive exhaust was entering the building.

Regarding ridership, a representative from Iowa Pacific stated they exceeded their goal of 5,000 tickets sold and toward the end, ridership built nicely. I have not heard SCBT&P comment on ridership. I believe they draw from different clientele and can coexist.
