The Amtrak F-59's 465-470 are dedicated to the Cascade service. 465 was a blue-silver Calafornia unit that did run with the "Vegas" Talgo set before both were repainted in the Cascade colors, and it being reassigned to Seattle. Any train in Cascade service should be powered by an F-59. When an F-59 is unavailable either P-32's (Amtk 500 series)or P-42's are used. A Talgo set with two P-42's is quite peppy but are limited to passenger speeds. Hope this answers your questions.
