All,

Robby is correct. The former SP SD9, which is now NN 204 is the primary yard goat for the NN Railway Museum. It was operating all last weekend, when I was at the first of the two photo shoot weekends. The only other diesel-electric that has been operational is Alco RS-3 #109. That unit was also apparently operational just before the photo shoot, but suffered some kind of mechanical issue and is currently down for repair.

As of last weekend, both of the active steam locomotives (40 & 93) were operational, as was the Steam Crane A, which was demonstrated on Friday. In addition, the museum has done some cosmetic restoration on Rotary B, and it was used as a rolling "prop" last weekend to simulate a snow-fighting train for the photographers.

/Kevin
