Everything we do as humans is subject to human error. I can only imagine if this proposed recommendation does in fact become the rule. There are many dispatchers out there that can't find their way out of a cardboard box, much less answer their radio calls in a timely manner to allow for all of these trains that are sitting in a siding after a meet waiting and waiting and waiting to get authority to leave. For those of us who take our jobs seriously and pay close attention to the rules instead of our cell phones, this can turn into another needless, delay prone nightmare.
