I had with the '72. Yes, I think that was probably
1995, when she pulled the Garlic Train to Gilroy.
(1995 was the only year she pulled the Garlic Train. )

Interesting note: each day she ran in reverse as many miles
as she ran forward: 161.4! Why?
There is no wye or turntable in Gilroy, so she backed up the 33.8 miles
to San Jose, ran around the wye (I did not include this mileage in my
figures) and backed up the 33.8 miles to Gilroy. She ran back to SF,
which is 80.7 miles. After arriving in SF, she had to back 46.9 miles
to San Jose because the Mission Bay Wye was out of service, and there
were cars on the wye in Redwood City. Returning to SF in reverse was
another 46.9 miles. These mileages are from the SP's Western Region
Timetable #3, dated Oct. 29, 1989.
