To P.Kepler - the building @ 666 N.Tustin Ave in Orange, CA is still there; however the business has changed. Don't know when Frank's went out of business. I was a long - time faithful customer of Frank's Hobby Shop from 1975 to mid - 80's at least. I used to ride my bike there from my house in Villa Park, CA some 5 miles away. Owner Frank Santangelo was very forgiving of a loud - mouthed kid who asked too many questions; I am forever grateful...
