Snohomish, Washington spur

At what is now the Southeast corner of the Snohomish Airport, the line from Renton splits, three ways. Left to Everett.(most frequently used) Straight to the Snohomish River bridge, Snohomish and formerly to Arlington and Sumas.(occasionally used for parking) Right to Spokane. (occasionally used for turning loads and for parking)

When the line to Arlington was abandoned, where was the North end of this line established? Possibly in Snohomish at a grain elevator? Was there another abandonment after the demise of the elevator? Abandonment proceedings give mileposts to the hundredth.

"RailPictures.Net Photo >> Northern Pacific Railway Bridge" shows a view to the South from the vicinity of the chainlink fence at the Snohomish end of the bridge.

Suspect that this matter was reviewed before SOW headed South.
