That's OK, wait until SCE attempts to recoup the 600-700 million it has sunk into the plant in a last ditch effort to get it open again - not to mention the X-million dollars it will cost (us) to dismantle and clean it all up (you can bet SCE will deliberately go bankrupt BEFORE it pays THAT money out). Maybe they'll get a nice jet-engine-type power plant like we have here in Burbank, CA which has sat virtually unused since it was built and opened (with great fanfare and BS) a couple of years ago. It's great, but sounds like a squadron of beserk jet fighters on startup. It only dumps out slightly used jet fuel into the air (how nice!). When the lights go out, see how fast the Nimbys scream for more nukes or even (shudder) coal.
