It'll be interesting just how much the McCoy operation affects grain shipment patterns on the Palouse. One of the problems with the particular location is the lack of truck refueling facilities in the Rosalia/Oaksdale area. Grain truckers who typically haul down to the LC valley have plenty of trucker-friendly facilities down there to refuel (diesel is usually less expensive in the LC valley than on the Palouse), make both simple and major repairs, grab a bite to eat, etc. Conversely, there's not a lot to choose from on the upper Palouse.
