The leased ATSF power never ran again after it was returned, and I don't think any of them were saved. They were leased with the proviso that whatever repairs that needed to be made to bill the PRR and they would pay for the repairs. Imagine if any of those 5011's survived I wonder who would be getting that bill?

P.S. I thought SP steam lasted until 1958....
