Tony, gotta disagree with your blanket statement. While most of the corn,soybean,sugar beet, and some canola and alfalfa are geneticly enhanced other major crops are not. That includes wheat, vegetables, grasses,rice, beans, various vegetable oil crops, fruits, etc. Research privately and publicly continues to improve crops that have better natural resistance to insects and pathogens. Most without genetic enhancement using gene insertion methods. These improvements over the last 25 years have brought more food to the tables of people everywhere.
