Re: Japan resuming wheat imports

Monsanto is primarily a pesticide company, isn't it?
They do not care about human or animal health --
only about profits. If what is in the GMO wheat
is anything like what is in GMO corn here in the
US, I hope no one buys any of it. GMO corn
supposedly has that awful pesticide RoundUp in every
kernel. And I really hope I am wrong about this,
but I read that rats fed GMO corn developed huge tumors
and became sterile.
How can it be safe to consume RoundUp? (I wonder
what Monsanto executives eat?)
And GMO crops do not stay confined to where they
are planted -- the seeds are bred to breed true,
and will blow into neighboring fields, and get washed
downstream into other areas, too.
The genie is well and truly out of the bottle, and I
greatly fear for our future because of this ill-
considered widespread use of GMOs.
Japan is quite right to be concerned about this. I really
feel very sorry for ordinary US farmers, and also for US
railroads.
