How does a thread about how a "train" assisted in removing someone with impulse control issues from the gene pool can turn into a rant about California from people who can't do math or fact check?

It was probably all my fault. It was just too tempting not to add the bit about suing, when discussing such senseless stupidity and unnecessary disruption to LOSSAN travelers.

Or maybe, it's just because some folks can't seem to hack it in a complex and difficult world, where things aren't simple, and they just need to whine about California, where though we are a top ten state in education and income, we get only get 90 cents on the dollar back in federal tax monies, in order to subsidize all of those whiners who have moved to other states?
