Re: New siding on BNSF near Sprague, WA

Here is what is known...
It is not a normal dispatcher controlled siding. I will be used to store trains going into or out of the ballast tracks affectionately known as Missile Base.
Funds have already been committed to the double tracking of the entire lakeside subdivision.
Here are the Railroad rumors...
There are several rumors about where they can't double track. (i.e. Ritzville over I-90 and Hatton Canyon.)
Here is what is observed...
The surveyors have already been out and appears to me that they have already staked out where the center of the second main is going to be on the lakeside sub.
There are stakes one the east side of the tracks in the hatton canyon. (Not sure what that means.)
Has anybody noticed the brand new signal system that went in recently??? Electronic Train Management System is coming soon. (AKA PTC)
For those who live or railfan around Lind, WA. You may notice the 82.7 signal no longer gives trains a double-yellow signal when they are going to diverge onto Main 1 at Sand. They now get a yellow-over-green (Advanced Approach)
A lot of money is going into the Lakeside Sub. Rumors are the economy is on it's way back up to 2007 levels for 2014. And the shortline at Connell the "CB" will soon take entire empty grain trains (with distributive power) from BNSF to take to their customers.
