Yard limits are a method of main track authorization as is a track warrant, CTC, DTC, etc. Generally you can occupy the main track in YL without a track warrant since it is its own form of authority. I do know of YL that is within CTC limits but as I understand it the CTC governs. I'm not sure what the difference is between CTC+YL and CTC. (Even though I operate over a small segment of it.) We just treat it like CTC.
In your example a train could operate using YL at Ann and then would need a track warrant to proceed beyond MP 29.3. If there were an overlap of TWC and YL trains would be operating at restricted speed (unless on a favorable signal indication) in YL regardless of warrant authority.
