I never knew about the turntable @ Tweedy. I figured Espee would have installed a turntable at GEMCO for turning steam locomotives, however it makes sense that Espee would want a quick way to turn an " Unload Other Side " car. I toured the GM South Gate plant in the early to mid - 1970's, as part of a school field trip. Those WERE the good old days.
