As I understand it, the group working to open the line has bought three of the former Idaho Northern & Pacific GP40s and has them on site. Sounds like they are doing work on the line.

Does anyone know if the wrecked passenger cars were ever removed from the line? Also what is the story behind the non-wrecked passenger cars that are left "abandoned" in the canyon?
