OK, I see the retaining wall. I recall reading that PE had track parallel to the retaining wall and Aliso St. Those rails are not visible, so this photo is after they were removed? Also, pdx writes that the curved one way street became an entry slip road for the E/B 101. Upon viewing google map of the location, I disagree, or at least theorize that it was actually east of present onramp. It appears the old road (in archive photo) was an outlet of N. Vignes Street. You can see an old curved chain link fence line in the present day aerial and a property line/chain link fence line which matches the old photo in map view. Both the old photo and map view show fence on (roughly N-S) tangent line connecting to non tangent curve (curving right & towards east).
