Ex-UP 1847 is up and running, made it as far as Pullman last week with the W&I 20 to fetch some baretables off the ex-UP Colfax branch. It was my understanding that the B-40's are owned
by Western Rail of Airway Heights and were offered to another shortline that declined to try them out for a variety of reasons. Does anyone know what happened to the second F-unit that was supposed to make it to the W&I but had mechanical issues and ended up at the small passenger car repair shop that was near Sandpoint,ID?
