Union Pacific Yellow & Grey " Streamliner " colors were specified for all cars on The City of San Francisco at one time, regardless of railroad ownership. Recall that the original COSF trainsets ran through from Chicago to Oakland ( C&NW - UP - SP ) without any changing out of cars along the way. What's more interesting to me is that, based on window arrangement, the rear car appears to be a coach; however the 2 cars ahead of it are sleepers.
