It wouldn't make me cry to see gasoline prices down to a dollar a gallon again and stay that way. The oil refining companies, investors and distributors have had it their way for too long. That reduction in cost to trucking companies alone would be reflected in the price of consumer goods. Reduced fuel costs to the railroads would also help reduce costs as well. It's way over due.
