It amazes me how many Americans (and not just people on the two coasts,) think they can pick and choose from the bounty of the industrialized world. The Prius in the driveway, good. The stationary bike that recreates the Tour de France, good. The graphite fly fishing rod, and the titanium golf clubs, also good. The industrial processes that bring these things to us?.. bad.
